Passwords are being forgotten

In the latest version, the browser is although remembering the passwords, but when you close it, and then re-open it, the newly saved passwords are gone.

It is very, very frustrating and I have lost 3 passwords already, because I did not suspect such kind of a thing would happen.

Please look into it.

Browser maintained passwords.

I am on XP and I have imported the passwords from firefox because of this. When one imports the passwords from firefox, they are not forgotten.

I don't have a solution in mind. But, I am curious what you find when you look here.
