Hidden Extension "Show button" missing

Some extensions or apps can display icons in the toolbar. Some of these display the selection "Hide in Slimjet Menu" on the right-click menu that is displayed when the icon is selected. Once hidden, how can it be redisplayed?

This might be a bug, I'm going to move this topic to the Bug Reports forum and modify the Subject accordingly.

Bug Report:

• The "Show button" is missing from the Extensions page. This button should be visible after an Icon is right clicked and the user has selected, "Hide in Slimjet menu".
  
  Example, the Stumbleupon icon.
  
  I reproduced this problem running 32 bit 8.0.4.0 on a windows box

I actually asked this question before trying to hide an icon, because I wanted to know how to get it back before I hid it. So I don't really know if this is working or not. If there is a bug, would disabling the extension and then re-enabling the extension cause a hidden icon to re-display?

No, I tried that. The only way I could bring it back was to remove the extension and then reinstall in.

The instructions for google chrome, which should also work for Slimjet, is that after you hide the icon and you want to get it back, you open the Extensions page and find the extension listed and look for the button that says, "Show button", clicking that will un-hide the icon.

How to open the Extensions page so you can Manage Extensions in Slimjet?

The Way of the Mouse:

• • Click the Gear or Cog Settings Icon at the upper right of the browser window
  • Mouse over, "More Tools", and select by clicking, "Extensions", this will open a page to manage Extensions

or

• • Click the Gear or Cog Settings Icon at the upper right of the browser window
  • Mouse over, "Settings", click the Extension link at the left side of the Settings page, this will open a page to manage Extensions

Keyboard Shortcut (longcut?)

There is no documented keyboard shortcut or "hotkey" for this purpose, HOWEVER, that being said, if you favor the keyboard over the mouse do this anyway and practice it enough times that you have it memorized, after several repetitions you will have trained your 'memory muscle' and will be able to do this faster than anyone can using the mouse alone.

• • Press the key combination, Ctrl+H
  • Mash down... or rather Hold down the Shift key and Press the Tab key three times then let go of the Ctrl key
  • Press the Enter key

is it not just cog/settings then hide in slimjet menu from right click on icon menu then to show again right click hidden icon in slimjet menu "show in toolbar" ? If your disabling extension you need to re enable for the icon appear
