Issue with playing WGT in fullscreen mode

Evening all

I have been using slimjet for around 2 years now and have found it to be fantastic and would not use any other browser now.

I firstly downloaded it as I required a lightweight browser for when playing WGT (World Golf Tour) on my admittedly old spec laptop.

I have had no issues playing the game, until about 3 months ago when I updated my slimjet version.

When playing the game, you need to play in full screen mode to play properly, which has worked with no problems at all for a couple of years.

Since the upload of the newer version from some months ago, when I enter full screen mode, the game plays in what looks like a low resolution VGA type format and some of the in game screen buttons no longer work...why, I have no idea and now the game is pretty much rendered unplayable.

Although I can use Chrome or Firefox etc...to play, the heavy load of the apps means the screen lags terribly and again, the game is then very difficult to play.

Whilst I am aware that I could purchase a new laptop or spend to upgrade what I have, I would like to happily keep using what I have and using slimjet as both worked fine previously.

Laptop is an old Dell latitude D630 and slimjet version is currently "Version 25.0.8.0 (based on Chromium 78.0.3904.63) (Official Build) (32-bit)"

Any possible ideas as what I could do to solve my issue would be appreciated greatly.

download the portable of the previous version that worked and run the standalone for the game. I think Portable will be one of the 7z files.

I owe you an apology for not managing to post a thank you for your reply to my question some weeks ago.

I did indeed role back the installation to a time prior to the update that I installed stopped the game from working.

Your advice was great and was exactly what I needed to resolve my issue, so a big thank you from me.
