Using Slimjet with Ubuntu. When I click a PDF link the only option is to download the file. The toggle "Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Slimjet" doesn't change anything
Elsewhere in this forum I found instructions, old, to enter slimjet://plugins produces this:

ERR_INVALID_URL
So does the ability to just view even exist?

Try this
Go to Settings
Type in PDF to search for it
scroll down a bit as needed and click File Settings
scroll down a bit as needed and click PDF Documents
Toggle this selection OFF
