'Translate Selected Text' NOT working in Linux

Hi developers,
sorry to report that 'Translate Selected Text' has NEVER worked in Linux.
Selecting text in a page, clicking right mouse button and selecting 'Translate Selected Text' does not work, that is, nothing happens.
No problems in Windows working as usual.
Hoping this very useful function come back to work.

Thanks 7PHC6ENB, but your suggestion doesn't work unfortunately.
Indeed in Windows it works flowlessly without changing the setting you indicated.

I don't see anyone else running Linux jumping in and making the same complaint. This places the odds high at this point that it will be something specific to your linux box. Either a Slimjet setting or a setting elsewhere on your system which has affected this. Apologies that I'm not familiar enough with Linux to be more specific.

Just as an aside -- in general machine translation is not very good.

Though it can be a labor saver, if possible it's still best to have someone who knows the target language to double check it.
