Bookmarks bar too much horizontal space between bookmarks

Not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but with the update to 20.0.4.0 there is extra horizontal space between the bookmarks on the bookmarks bar.

This has resulted in two folders being pushed off into the "extra" space provided by the double-arrow drop-down on the right.

Is there a way to decrease the space between the bookmarks?

if you have not done this try a right click on the bar and select Show short title
