Invert colors is turned on in settings, control icon added to toolbar and turned on but it is not working on webpages or globally. System is Mint Xfce 18.3 up to date.
installed slimjet using the .deb with dependencies satisfied. Invert colors not working.
Removed slimjet.
Installed slimjet using the .tar method. Invert colors not working.
Remove slimjet again.
Re-install using the .deb again and invert colors not working.
Is this distro missing a dependency?
Is this a slimjet thing?
I installed an addon until i can fix this but I'd rather use the built in inverter.
Thanks
note: no errors reported, no crashes, nothing bad happening in logs.

Re: Invert Colors not working
I can't reproduce this on my windows box. Might be linux related issue?

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

Re: Invert Colors not working
Not sure, but maybe you need to install xcalib
It should be in package manager.

Re: Invert Colors not working
Thanks for the replies. xcalib didn't work but good try.
I can't reproduce this either on my cinnamon machine or my ubuntu unity machine. So this is likely caused by something missing or corrupted in xfce. I'll keep troubleshooting it. Thx again

Re: Invert Colors not working
You might try asking on the linux mint forum. Maybe someone there would know.
