Bookmark Star in address bar on right

Also, it was there in the beginning then after it disappears it is gone

You could try reinstalling Slimjet from a fresh download. If you're on Win, run Malwarebytes too.

Google. the moment i start typing in the search bar the bookmark star in the address bar goes away? same thing happens if you change to another browser. thank you for your effort and concern

What you describe is normal expected behaviour. It disappears while your using the address bar for typing in a search string because the Bookmark feature cannot be used since it takes the URL for a bookmark from the address bar. That way it won't bookmark a search string manually typed in instead of the intended page.

To be clear, are you saying you only typed in search once & now the star is gone for good, never returns?

Yes, I have double and triple checked all this to make sure I'm giving correct information. thank you

ps- when i get time I'm going to uninstall and reinstall again, I'll let you know what happens.

completely uninstalled again and same issue still exists
