I thought it would never happen but today's update 19.0.1.0 appears to have solved the problem.
I have tested it several times on several forums and it retained the logins. It would have been nice if Slimjet had acknowledged this bug and stated it had been solved.
I am still having this problem, and I am on Slimjet Version 18.0.5.0 (based on Chromium 64.0.3282.119) (Official Build) (32-bit).
I have been having the same issue for the past year or so. I am an advanced user (IT tech) and have gone through all of the settings to make sure nothing is set to be blocked or deleted, cookie wise, and every time I close and restart the browser, I have to login to all my sites again. I also am unable to save any personal settings on any websites that utilize cookies to store settings parameters. I have checked all the cookies individually, listed in the page cookie details, and it appears all cookies are being set properly; But they are not being properly read once the browser is restarted. They are all still there though, values set.
Can somebody please give an update on this issue? Thanks!

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.
