Any way to replace the ads blocker?
I'm fed up of being hijacked to p**n sites and fake virus alerts for a certain useless security software
My wife does not want to see f word and naked women

Re: Ad Blocker
Not 100% certain what your asking.
If you want to use a different ad blocker than the built in one, you can turn it off, and then install an ad blocking extension, there are several out there. I've seen recommendations for Adblock, Adblock Plus, and uBlock.
If you have persistent pop ups, it is possible (well extremely likely) that your machine has become infected with malware. In which case it won't matter which popup ad blocker your using. You may need to deal with malware or a virus before finding relief.

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

Hi oftentired
All this only happens on slimjet, not pale moon or firefox
I have Kaspersky for protection
I have added adblock plus but slimjet disables it even though SJ ad blocker is off!

I'm still voting for a malware problem. It is not intended behaviour that Slimjet would disable an adblocker.
