Sometimes many clicks required to activate context menu

I often select text, and Copy it from one tab and Paste it into another tab (often in another window).
(Say, for example, when I am translating something, and copy and paste a word into the search bar of an online-dictionary).
I often also open links in new tabs (or windows).

Most of the time in Flashpeak-Slimjet, it takes more than one right-click to bring up the context menu.
It has sometimes taken more than 8 right-clicks to do so.

For Copy/Paste, if I get too annoyed, I can do ctrl-C and ctrl-V, but it is annoying.
I have no alternative for opening links in new tab/new window, as there seem to be no keyboard shortcuts for those.

I don't know what makes it take so many clicks to bring up the context menu, but it is annoying.

I can confirm. I've not paid much attention to when. But I have noticed a hesitation in the context menu. Sometimes I've had to restart the browser.
