Hello folks!
Please refer to the attached screen representation & help 'rationalize' the Memory-footprint of Slimjet !?
In its active state, Slimjet is turning out to be a true Memory HOG & consuming 111 MB of system memory!
What if I switch to the 'Portable' version?? Will the Memory-footprint remain same?
Lean n Mean Slimjet is need of the hour & help fulfill the Objective towards the planned release!
Inputs are being keenly awaited....
Thank you.
Slimjet worth 111 MB of Memory-HOG!

111 is not a lot. That is my opinion. Mine is up around 700 right now.

Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

This must be something related to the way the browser is used (400 pages open?) or some other problem with the computer. I´ve tried almost every browser there is and I can testify that slimjet is the one that uses less resources.

Hello josegimcam !
How much is it able to clock on our PC? What amount of RAM is being utilized by multiple Slimjet processes running in the background?
Secondly, can't these be condensed to a single 'slim' process?

For example, now, with only this page open I have 37.960 K in task manager. As for the second, I understand that slimjet, like chrome, is a multiple process browser, only that slimjet uses less resources.
Re: Slimjet worth 111 MB of Memory-HOG!
In my case with just this page open + typing reply: 5 slimjet processes active with total memory: 35+35+15+1,2+1,3=87,5 MB. I think also too much.
Internet explorer 11 does it with less: 2 procs and 51,6 + 8,4=60 MB.

So, saurabhdua, what operating system are you running and how much RAM do you have?

Hello oftentired!
Mine is a Win 7 Ultimate edition with a 2 GB RAM on it.
A familiar chromium-driven browser - - CENT-Browser do offer a choice to run it via single memory process!
Now Iam not sure whether that single would equate to a sum total of all OR translate into a lean n mean value !????
Thank you.
