Deleted Bookmark Folders
OK, I pulled a real boner ... I deleted a bookmark folder, with some subfolders in it as well. Well, I didn't sign out, I located the .bak folder, copied it, and tried the rename trick - It didn't bring back the folder!! But, since I copied it, I opened it in Slimjet, and I see all of the links in that folder, so I still have them, and I have been restoring them manually .. not a lot of fun. So why didn't the rename trick restore the folder? Is there a faster way to restore those links from the copied .bak file?

I'm not sure how your bak was created or what program did it of if you used explorer and did it manually
try this
copy the bak to another location, like your desktop, then try to rename it
