Linux update seems not working

I am on a Ununtu 14.04 LTS machine and installed Slimjet Version 13.0.3.0
Since installation I regularly (daily) received announcement about updates and accepted all of them.
The last update request was today about Slimjet 13.0.8.0 and as before I clicked on yes.
However Slimjet is still stuck on the initial 13.0.3.0, considering what Help center/about reports. Why is Slimjet not updating?

I noticed that whenever I give my permission to make the update, Slimjet downloads an Archive.exe file (which obviously is not Linux compatible) and tries to launch it.
The attempt, of course, fails.

Why Linux Slimjet is trying to update using a Windows executable file?
How can I fix this issue and make a regular update?

Not sure how to fix it. I just uninstall the old Slimjet, then download & install the new version manually.

Someone can tell if the bug is fixed with last release?

No, I still can't auto update the latest version. Had to do it manually again.
