A question about an extension in Slimjet.

Post by Walker1945 »

I like Slimjet, I think that if's a nice implementation of Chromium and I like using it but, like Chromium, Slimjet can be a resource hog.

That being so I've looked to tailor my implementation of Slimjet for minimum resource usage; in that process I noticed that "slimjet://extensions" says I have one extension in use but "http://www.slimjet.com/en/onlinefb.htm" shows there are two Slimjet extensions active on my system.

The second *active* extension is named "Chrome Web Store Payments".

How can I disable or remove that extension?

After looking around the net a bit, it seems that there is no way to disable that "extension". My configuration is showing that also.

I imagine that since Slimjet is derived from Chromium and modified,
that there are some things too embedded to remove easily.
Perhaps there are dependencies.

Could be that they hope to be able to sell T-shirts, cups and posters in the future?

nmmhkkegccagdldgiimedpiccmgmieda (chrome web store payments) is the offending extension so either type this in your address bar chrome://open_profile_folder which should open your user data folder then look for the extensions folder and delete the nmmhkk etc folder or through your computer its C:\Users\[REPLACE WITH LOGGED IN USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Slimjet\User Data\extensions\nmmhkkegccagdldgiimedpiccmgmieda
