Videos can't play on Ubuntu

I've recently switched over to Ubuntu Linux, and in Slimjet no videos play outside of YouTube.

• All Facebook reels and other types of videos on FB won't play.

• A video on another that I needed to watch after ordering a product, wouldn't play.

• Pretty much any video other than YT, won't play.

And this is happening only in Slimjet. I've been using this browser for years on Windows, so it seems there's a setting or something that I need set for Ubuntu?
