I don't remember if anyone has done so. However, ChromeOS is linux based and it is setup, I think by default, to run Debian Linux apps. So if you want to mess around with it go to the Download page, click on "Show all platforms", the linux selection that works on Debian would be the one to try. (Keep in mind if your Chromebook is running a 32bit OS you will need to grab the 32 bit legacy).
For those of you who wear aluminum foil hats, the voices lie, don't believe them!
Mostly my replies are about Windows OS. If not I try to remember to specify Linux.

I have a nusiance issue. I have at one end of the abode a chromebook, sitting in the kitchen. At the other end of my nest I have a Windows pc. Will slimjet easilly autosync between these 2 devices? Or do you have a better suggestion for a browser brand that will autosync between this Cbook and the Win11. Much appreciated. jack ":-D (btw I am not adept at using Linux on the Cbook)

If you get SJ to run on a Chromebook then yes, the google cloud sync feature will work for all your browsers that are capable of using it.

Also, you should have made this a new topic.
