Search Tabs button takes too much space on tabs bar

I just upgraded from 29 to 31.0.2 and the "hamburger" button to open the list of tabs has been replaced by a droplist/arrow "Search Tabs" button... the issue being that it takes 10 times the space it should! So my tabs bar is squeezed to the left instead of going to the right of the screen. Here's a screenshot with a red ellipse showing the issue, please fix this soon!


I'm on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS.
I tried to reboot but problem is still there, am I the only one with this issue? Or does nobody else care about this? (I'm losing space for 10 tabs there)

Why is that button not right at the end of the tab bar? It is at least taking 5 times too much space.

Does this happen to only a few people, or only on linux, or most people...?

It may be related to your theme. Try removing your theme and then putting it back.

I don't use a theme.
I tried adding one, using a Profile, changing its color+avatar, etc.
Only colors changed, not this.

No news about this bug? Maybe a config file or icon/picture or something I could edit, while waiting for a fix?

I just upgraded Slimjet from 31.0.2.0 to 32.0.2.0 and the same issue is still there (no change). Any news about a fix from Slimjet or a workaround I could implement?
