[ Feature request ] Saving web content

Hi,

Is it possible to change the "Save" function to be permanently "Save As" ?

I am using two extensions to save web pages - Save Page WE and Web Scrap Book - and I have with these two addons no possibility with Slimjet to change the file name when I download web pages with it.

When using the Brave browser the default is "Save as", that is I am presented with a save dialogue that allows me to change the file name.

Please let me know how to change this behaviour in Slimjet as I want to move permanently to Slimjet as default browser.

If this is not possible, please consider my query as a feature request.

I am afraid, this is the wrong answer, oftentried.

Install both extensions and try it out. Then you'll see CTRL+S does not work for either of them with Slimjet.

Eventually I found the answer myself with the help of a good web search engine...

Settings --> Advanced --> Downloads ---> then Enable "Ask where to save each file before downloading"

Once I enabled "Ask where to save each file before downloading" Slimjet is now doing what I wanted it to do.
