I don't see anything in Slimjet Flags

But, in searching, I did enable Power bookmark backend & User notes side panel to play around with making notes about different webpages. That is an interesting feature.

I don't see a setting to enable a status bar of any kind.
In settings if you enable the turbocharged download manager it will show a progress bar at the lower right of the browser window.

Uninstall Slimjet and then reinstall. Use the Full Installer. Do not use the web installer.

Adding youtube.com to the whitelist did not stop the crash for me.

Oh. And this is not a real bug. It is more of a defensive attack from Youtube since they prefer people to see their advertising efforts instead of skipping over them. So, I'm moving this to the General forum.

Apparently youtube has been making changes to defeat adblockers. If you turn your adblocker off youtube won't crash Slimjet. Then keep an eye out for a Slimjet update and test the waters afterward to see if that has been taken care of. That is not the only solution. But I think it to be the easiest ...
