Wrong context menu

I am a big fan of Slimjet and have used it for a couple years now. However, I have always had the problem that I cannot paste from the context menu into a web page. Instead, I have to use Ctrl-V, which works without problem.

Today I discovered that it wasn't just the paste function missing from the context menu. I finally realised that the wrong context menu is actually popping up! It is the same menu that I get when browsing, which starts with Back/Forward/Reload/Bookmark This Page, etc. What I should get when I am in a data entry box is a context menu that starts with Fill Form/Save Form/Undo and so on, but I don't get that. For some reason it has now started working a little bit, which is how I discovered that was the problem. Sometimes it now appears, especially after I have already started typing something, but most of the time I get the other menu instead. Does anyone else have this? Can anyone explain what is going on?

I wonder if this is related to something I've experienced several times now. I get the focus to a text entry area and the keyboard input is refused by the browser. I have to jockey around placing the focus elsewhere and back a couple times, maybe even refresh the page before it accepts text again. On some occasions I've had to restart the browser. Once I had to restart the whole system. I've hesitated to report it as this is my older backup laptop and I have to do a complete no power laptop system boot now and again to restore the mobo drivers to a functioning status.

I'm going to try the context menu before and when next this happens and see if it has issues at the same time.
