Web Browser Discussion, Browser Talk - Slimjet Web Browser Online Forum

Been using Slimjet for about a week and was just getting to grips with it but I found it wouldn't start today, got a box saying it couldn't find data files or something, afraid I can't recall exactly what it said, win 10 did a big update yesterday and I assumed it was something to do with that.
I got it going again by just extracting all the files to the same folder but I wondered if anyone might be able to tell me what could be going on as I did not have it on the C:\ drive and it is the 'portable' version so anything the win update did should not have effected it - should it?

if you made a shortcut to a removable drive it is possible the drive designation changed and the shortcut became bad

No, it's on a fixed drive, D:\, only shortcut to it is from Quick launch and I also tried starting the program file from it's directory.
Forgot to mention before, the user data folder was still in the Slimjet directory with a lot of stuff in it and when I got it working again the couple of extensions I had added were still working.
