Google now permits advertisers to use fingerprinting

Google has recently made it possible for advertisers to use fingerprinting to track users. What does this mean in practice? It means that advertisers can use your browser information as well as your computer's hardware information (user-agent, language preferences, time zone, screen resolution, IP address, operating system, etc.) to carry out individual profiling, all without the need for cookies.
This authorization contradicts what Google has said about fingerprinting in 2019, and worries data protection authorities (such as the ICO in the UK) or privacy associations (such as EFF).
In view of this recent news, I think Slimjet should add more features to protect privacy, especially to prevent fingerprinting, perhaps taking inspiration from Brave to see how they thwart fingerprinting (it's documented here : https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/ ... rotections ) and include these techniques in Slimjet.
