Just wanted to report that 44.0.6. seems has solved the general crashing issue, but it is unfortunately no longer possible to watch anything. The tab in which a video is playing hangs itself up after a few minutes, freezes and then often totally crashes. I have to use Edge now for watching TV.

Maybe anybody in Germany/Austria/Switzerland/France can help the developers fix this issue as these stations might be geoblocked.
