Cannot Set Slimjet As Default

Hello:
This is the third day that I have used Slimjet. It seems fast and efficient; but there seems to be an issue I've encountered. Everytime I open SlimJet it asks me if I want to make it my default. I tick "Yes" but it seems to not be working. I have went to the setting page and have tried to tick it there: but the button does nothing. Any ideas? I'm using Slimjet on the latest version of PCLinuxOS KDE 64 bit.

Hi lee1762. I've got Slimjet on Xfce and LXDE, but I'm not familiar with KDE. Does KDE have a feature something like "Prefered Applications" where you can set your default browser?
