Slimjet not keeping me logged into any sites

I'm on Linux (Kubuntu 22.04), using the latest Slimjet.

It's a new install, and none of my sites stay logged in on Slimjet. Facebook, Gmail, etc. Even these forums.
After I close Slimjet, and come back later, I'm logged out of everything.

I cleared cookies/cache, but the problem continues.
Looked through the browser setting for anything related to keeping cookies or not, but couldn't see anything. But I might've somehow missed it.

Please help.
