I just downloaded the new version for MacOS and that is what About Slimjet says it is.

The 38.0.7.0 fix "Fix bookmark side bar background color so that it can follow theme color" seems to have had an effect on the normal top bookmark bar, too, which is fine (that corrects a bug which cropped up a few months ago), but unfortunately the color of the font in the bookmark bar makes it unusable. For example, I have a dark theme, and the font color is black (or maybe navy blue, it's hard to see).

Is the color of the font adjustable?

Note: the bug depends on using auto-hide (top)

In the profile, open Defaults > Extensions. There you will see folders with ID numbers. One of those will be for the theme. Since that is not displayed in the Extensions window, you have to eliminate the extension ID numbers first and the one not identified is for the theme. You can see the ID numbers for the extensions by turning on Developer mode.

Open that theme's ID folder and the one with the version number inside it. Edit manifest.json and change the colour of the bookmark text.

That's a very good idea, but it's already white (bookmark_text": [ 255, 255, 255 ]). And it is white, except when it's in auto-hide mode, when it's overridden by this problem.
