Youtube crashes every time I try to make it full screen
Slimjet Version 37.0.1.0
Re: Youtube crashes every time I try to make it full screen
I used YouTube full screen today several times and no crash.
How about more information about your system (see my sig for example).
Also any extensions (if any) that interact with YouTube.

I use Windows 9 pro
Opera v 37 0 1 0
I have these extensions: Youtube nonstop and Youstopper for Youtube and Controls For Youtube. I just disabled them all. Let me see if it still happens...
Yep. Still crashes,

38.0.2.0 Same thing. How come I'm the only one complaining about this?

I don't have any issues going full screen on YouTube.

oftentired - do u have any idea what i might have setup wrong? I think the problem started for me with v.37, at least that's when i started this thread. I know it didn't used to be a problem.

Re: Youtube crashes every time I try to make it full screen
I know you mentioned that you turned off your YT extensions. Assuming you have other extensions, have you tried turning them all off?
Other than that nothing else comes to mind.
You mention your running Win 9? No such thing. So maybe revisit that with your actual OS?
You can experiment with a standalone installation. It will operate independent of your current settings. If that runs YT full screen successfully then you can rule out it being an issue with your PC hardware/settings.
It is a bit of a hassle, but after that, you can start changing the settings on the standalone install one at a time shifting it to what you currently have and see if one of them is the cause.

--- I'll try that

--- Did I say that? If I did it was in error. I have Win 10 Pro (set up to look like Win 7).

--- It's not that important really. If i want to watch something full screen I just use a different browser. So I'm the only one with this problem?
