hide side panel icon

hi there
i find really useless the icon "show side panel"
so, we have some trick to hide this iscon ? i've find (on web) this:
but maybe is an old trick or not work on slimjet
suggestion ?

also download button, is a way to hide? useless for me

Go to slimjet://settings/appearance.
Click on "Customize toolbar".
Get this window. You can take it from there.

thanks for hint, but from my toolbar i have only Ad blocker icon on right list
but also side panel icon are present. and same for download icon: now i don't have but after a download appears and if i don't delete all traces of the download remains active as an icon

It really used to be at chrome://flags/#side-panel (in Chromium) but now no longer is (even in Chrome) for whatever reason.
Maybe it'll end up like the Search Tabs button -- there whether you want it or not.
