slimjet 36.0.2.0 linux version youtube videos not loading

I tried upgrading to Slimjet 40.0.2.0 and replacing libffmpeg.so with this OneDrive link from Opera, using version 114 since it is Chromium's version for this Slimjet version. Now Slimjet doesn't start at all... if I try to launch it via terminal, I get the following error:

./slimjet: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.34' not found (required by /opt/slimjet/libffmpeg.so)

Yes I installed the Slimjet package via command line, since the software manager hasn't been working with Slimjet releases for years...
So as advised:

sudo dpkg -i slimjet_amd64.deb

then

sudo apt-get -f install

I'm on ZorinOS 16.3, based on Ubuntu 22.04, Linux kernel 5.15.0-78-generic.
I also tried libffmpeg's 0.72.0 version as recommended on Slimjet's release page, but as mentioned above it's still not working properly with several media types (same issue since the origin of this thread...)

Now libffmpeg 0.79.0 seems to be working with Slimjet 40.0.2.0 on Linux. (until the next Chromium upgrade of Slimjet breaks compatibility again...)

Now libffmpeg 0.83.0 seems to be working with Slimjet 42.0.2.0 on Linux.
