What is the 'Safe Torrent Scanner' extension, and how to use it?

The 'Safe Torrent Scanner' automatically came with my clean reinstall of Slimjet.
I have disabled it for but don't want to delete anything useful.
Somebody tell me something.

This should not have come with Slimjet; I doubt that it actually did. I suggest removing it.
If you can verify that this was with a download of the Slimjet installer the Flashpeak needs to be told about it.
