Google sync

Slimjet Newbie here
Operating System: Windows 10 Home, 21H1
Version of Slimjet: Version 33.0.0.0 (based on Chromium 94.0.4606.81) (Official Build) (64-bit)
I'm trying to Sync Slimjet with my Google account to import passwords, favorites.....
Click on Slimjet_User-Icon ---> Click Blue "Turn on sync..." --> opens a new Chrome sign in tab (even though I'm already signed into my Gmail )
Problem: After I sign in -- (username/pwd), SlimJet just opens a new tab and nothing happens
PS: Yes I am signed in to Slimjet with a username (not Guest)
Sidenote: if it helps, when I'm in a Gmail Tab and try to add an account (sign into 2nd Gmail), nothing happens. Have to right click on 'add account' which opens a new tab -- then I add the 2nd Google account
Advice would be Awesomely appreciated !
(so far apart from G-sync' issue LOVING Slimjet)
