Slimjet version 27 & 28 crashes when I right-click on TABS
Hello Sir,
I have tried all the new version of 27 & 28 (32bit & 64 bit) and it crashes when I right-click on TABS. So I have to move back to version 26
You guys have added few new options in "Right-click menu" on TABS which is causing crash. version 26 has less options n runs smoothly.
I have reported this in July 21, 2020 and still there is no reply or fix from developers from last 4 months and u guys are just releasing new version without fix ?
So many people also compliant the same issue as u can see, still no reply or fix.
Please fix this bug ASAP
I'm using windows 10 64 bit OS (ver 2004).
Thank U

Same with me.
I'm using 32-bit version of Slimjet v27 in Windows 10.
Step to reproduce:
1. Open more than one Slimjet window.
2. Click with right button on a tab (in the top area) TWICE.

I'm not able to reproduce this running 27.0.5.0

Hmm...
I've tried following;
Re-install portable version
Reset all the settings
No extensions
Confirm installer version too
But I can reproduce 100% when Slimjet has multiple windows.
I had no problem with version 26.
(cannot test in Win 7)

Okay, I have reproduced it with multiple windows open. I sent in a crash report.

I can confirm that the same thing happens on 64bit Linux Mint Cinnamon. GOne back to v26 for now, that works fine.

Tried 28.0.1.0 Beta - same problem. Reverting to 26.0.12.0 to see if that fixes it.

Re: Slimjet version 27 crashes when I right-click on TABS
tl;dr I've got the same exact problem and resolved it on 28.0.2.0 by reverting to 26.0.12.0 and back.
I was using 27.0.X.0 (x86), can't remember which one. It could've well been 27.0.7.0, I'm unsure. I tried to update to 28.0.2.0 automatically a couple days ago, but the checker reported I'm using the latest version already. So, I downloaded the offline 28.0.2.0 version, updated, and encountered crashes which I narrowed down to the second right click on any tab. I reverted to 27.0.7.0, then to 27.0.5.0, but the issue remained.
Reverting all the way to 26.0.12.0 indeed fixed it. Then, I installed 28.0.2.0 over it, and so far, so good.
