The default look (or theme/style) of slimjet reminds me of stuff I would have seen some years ago.
A modern clean look, maybe flat UI or just more modern would be nice.

I can offer help for free regarding design.
I just would need a dump of all the grafic files.

Apart from the previous mentions in the forum about the option of curved tabs I think the chrome store's themes provide pretty much anybody would want.

Yeah, but the default look with the blueish color etc. is just not contemporary.
All default icons look like they were took from a 2009 Linux distro.
Just saying you could do better.
You do a great job in developing a cool chromium based browser
(which works good most of the time - sometimes some scripts/coding does not work with slimjet), but style matters too.
And icons do not get themed by chrome webshop themes. Plus there is not one 100% cool minimalistic theme I would totally use.
That's why I made my own with an online theme generator.

The icon for the exe itself is outdated too. Not contemporary.
Have a look at all big projects... modern clean looks and flat UI.
This trend is existing because a slight beautiful minimalistic touch or makeover
looks good and is contemporary.

You could be more open minded for the mentioned changes.
If not doing a total makeover an option between classic slimjet and modern look would be cool.
Or classic slimjet and chrome default.

By the way, If I add the home button to the bar the icon is not skinned as it can be seen in the chooser at the settings.
See at my screenshot, second column.

I'm not part of the developers just a user like yourself but i stand by my response that the chrome store theme wise does cover most what people would want from a theme but i agree that the button icons do need a good make over :)

@dev good username for a software feedback forum... ;P

so, just updated SJ and still that ugly UI.
Damn, some SJ dev crew member give some feedback.
That UI is horrible.
Love SJ, hate the UI.

Dear developers, please add separator in toolbar. I like to add a two separators between buttons. Also I would like to be able to use the button icons from SlimBrowser(IE standart icons)
Thanks in advance, your browser does best!
