Hi,
on one of my machines, an XP 32 bit, I am running SJ v 10.0.13.0, the latest stable version compatible with this OS.
Please note that the updater prompts to update to v 20.0.5.0, which is not supported by this OS.
My daughter by mistake followed the lead and I had to make a fresh install using the XP portable version I had on a thumb drive, as I could not have SJ start.
I think this is a bug that needs to be rectified.

In the meantime. You could turn auto updates off. Then occasionally manually check for update. Settings gear Icon, Help center, Check update is pretty fast to do.

With update and check for beta turned on this box I still do a manual check now and then as the update has been un-reliable with other installs not just the XP.
