the Bookmark Star in address bar on right disappears and is gone most of the time. can you put it there all the time to easily bookmark web pages. thank you.

You might try clearing your cache & cookies to see if that helps. Do you have the star in incognito mode? If so, it might be an extension that makes it disappear. Try disabling them one at a time.

When you don't see the Star try pressing Ctrl+D, if that key combination doesn't get you a bookmark, then explore the possibility that the page being displayed cannot be bookmarked.

Does the star appear in incognito mode?

clearing everything including cache does not work. ctrl d does work, thank you for that. I still would like for it to be there all the time but when you do search in the search bar for ANYTHING star goes away. to me the star should be there AL Lthe time. thank you. Johnny

I'm having no luck reproducing this issue.

What is your default search engine that is used when you do it?

Google. the moment i start typing in the search bar the bookmark star in the address bar goes away? same thing happens if you change to another browser. thank you for your effort and concern

It's normal for it to disappear while typing. Does it come back when you finish your search? If so, you're good.
