Slimjet Updates

I don't think I'm going crazy or just imagining things. Slimjet updates are hit or miss, more miss than hit. Here's a few problems of late:
1. The latest update destroyed sound in the browser. That's right, no sound on any of our streaming sites. It wasn't just me, many of my friends that I've turned onto Slimjet experienced the same thing. Fortunately they took my advice and kept older copies of the software and sound was back.
2. The last couple updates fixed the color inverter problems of past updates but made it so that webpages are practically unreadable. We had to roll back to previous versions or we simply used night mode pro addon which by the way, works like a color inverter is supposed to.
3. Youtube videos play in one version of Slimjet but right after updating, some videos can't play. There's some codec crap that suddenly stops working. This is frustrating to say the least.
Okay, so we've got that out of the way. Slimjet is an excellent browser, we all love it when it's working properly. It's highly configurable and if you don't update you'll be fine. Update at own risk. We also know it's ad supported and don't have a problem with that at all, in fact, we use some of the products advertised. I, for one, would like to help keep Slimjet free to download and use.
Thanks for a good browser Flashpeak. We'd like to see better testing of updates and that's about it.
We use Linux machines. The LTS versions of Linux Mint and Ubuntu. These are the disrtro's that we use Slimjet on and where the updates cause us grief.
We cannot speak for Windows/Mac users and we don't care either.
Thanks,
Peace
