19.0.5 not working right on MX Linux

Slimjet_amd64-18.0.5.0.deb works very well for me on Linux;
however,
I have downloaded v19.0.5.0 but it is not usable for me on my
Lenovo T430, with MX Linux 17.1_x64, kernel 4.15.0-1-amd64, Intel graphics & audio.
With 19.0.5, all pinned tabs are blank. If I unpin the tabs, the text appears.
When I pin some again they are blank again.
I sent a bug report via the link that @OftenTired posted above.
