This is from another post in general forum: Updating to 18.0.1.0.

"Updated with check update in help center and, something that I already posted in this forum, when you update from inside the browser it does not update in control panel. For that you have to install it with one of the two files mentioned". (sjsetup and sjtwebsetup).

I have installed in my system: Firefox, Chrome and Opera. All of them update from inside the browser and control panel updates accordingly.

Not so Slimjet. Why?.

Mod Note: This issue is not with Slimjet itself. Rather it will be something to do with the small installation program that installs Slimjet; it technically is not a Slimjet bug. The next time I review the bug forum for misplaced topics I'm going to move this one to the General forum.

Don´t understand.
If Slimjet has in Help Center, check update (what I call update inside the browser) how it is that it is not a Slimjet problem?.
And, more important, why this problem does not happen with the other browsers mentioned (Firefox, Chrome and Opera).
I know this is not important because, when there is an update, I update from the web or the offline installers.

Today there were updates on chrome, opera and slimjet. The only browser that didn´t update in control panel was slimjet. Had to update with offline installer.
