I can usually play them in firefox but I prefer to use slimjet.

For a fraction of second the video starts and then an error message appears:

An error occurred. Please try again playback id............

Trying again does not make any difference.

I have tried disabling the addon blockers and popup blockers, one at a time. It made no difference. The error still appeared.

Could you please suggest some setting changes that could make the streaming video work again. Some video do play but a lot do not.

Can you give us a specific video you say won't play?

Latest SlimJet?
Which operating system?

Without further info, I'd just suggest you adjust the youtube video setting by clicking on the gear icon in the lower right. A lower setting might make it load & play.
