not all browsers work as intended

slimjet today failed to open after click its icon. I always expect that once you click an application/program, it should respond almost asap. with very minimal effort. why didn't it open ? usually i'd remove a program if it wasn't operating within my satisfactory standards..but those days are gone. ill hang onto slimjet...a bit longer. 
on a side note, finally after a 68 second delay, slimjet did open...im on edge now.
