Solved, by installing an extension that forces Facebook into Mobile view.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... hipgkcabfp Now my CPU and RAM both stay way low. Here i've got 15 incognito tabs and 5 normal tabs. You can see my utilization in the task manager. Much, much better. Another benefit, Facebook is much faster to navigate now, and i do not notice any lost functionality. Great!
