cannot update

For the past week I have had a message each time I open Slimjet noting that a new version is available, and I tick yes each time. The panel shows that something is downloading, but nothing happens, and I continue to receive the message. In the past I have never had any problem when a new version is announced.

It could be helpful to know the Operating System your running and current Version you have installed.
