Images not showing in certain sites (example: medium.com)

Hello, I am using Slimject version 13.0.6.0 (based on Chromium 55.0.2883.75) and I am having an issue viewing some pages with images.
For example, when reading the site https://medium.com/, certain images do not load. I can see the outline frame where the image should display but the image itself does not load.
To be honest, I did change the default configuration so it may be some setting that I have applied, I just don't know which one it is so I can disable it again.
Have anyone here experienced a similar issue with the browser? Any ideas what the issue could be or do you now maybe what setting I need to activate?
