Hello,

I've updated from 12.0 ( beta ) to 12.0.1 and it's working very very laggy.

There is huge delay after closing tab, also loading webpages is much slower, even changing tabs has delays.

Something is wrong with this version, going back to 12.0 and all works great.

I didn't test it for very long time so I don't know if there are any stability issues, anyway it's VERY SLOW.

Changing tabs, closing tabs, closing browser takes ages in comparison to very fast 12.0.0 ( beta ). I returned to older version and all is ok.

I hope team will fix this issue because in changelog there is nothing interesting between 12 -> 12.0.1 and it's broken for me ( tested on few pc ).

What's important it's 64-bit version ( i didn't test 32-bit ).

UPDATE: 12.0.2 and 12.0.3 have same problem with lags...

Nothing changed in this case.

I wonder if any SJ developer is reading this thread?

Very weird problem which makes SJ 12.x almost totally unusable.

I'm thinking rendering.

I suggest check/un-check (whichever applies to you) the Setting to use hardware acceleration when available and give it whorl.

Next I'm thinking read/write.

Create a Custom Cache Location on your fastest available drive and give it a go there. Also, it has been reported by one user that limiting the size of the cache appears to have made a difference, however, it has made no difference at all to my system to leave it at default (no user specified limit).

Yes, I am still having a love/hate relationship with this browser. Still some instability issues, but since I relocated and limited the cache size, I have not seen page loading issues that I was having before. I am still having the click on a bookmark crash happening from time to time, however.

Hardware acceleration on/off tested - no difference same slow opening tabs, closing tabs, overall.

Tested on 2 powerful machines PC and laptop with very fast CPU i7's,GPU and SSD drives ( for cache - also tested cache in memory), but to be clear it has no sense to me because version 12.0 ( beta ) is working GREAT, only next ones are broken.

I'm using SJ for long time ( tested many versions ) and all was going great until upgrade from 12.0 ( beta ) -> 12.0.1

12.0.4 still no solution and slow working. Noone sees that difference in speed of creating / closing new tabs and whole browser?

I just had an issue upon booting my computer and opening Slimjet. One site loaded in one tab, but other reliable sites would not load in a new tab and it was obvious that something was going on. I don't know....even upon restarting the browser nothing would connect. Finally on the third try I am now here on the internet.
