64bit is fine and more secure, the old memory jargon was a issue way back this is not a issue now there is a post about it up on the forum somewheredonaldduck wrote:oftentired wrote:Link To 64 bit Download Pagedonaldduck wrote:I'm still on 10.01. I'm going to try to download the new 12.01. I hope it doesn't trash the whole works like happened when I downloaded 11. I have 64 bit. Is that OK? Because when I go to the download page it specifies 32 bit.
I went here:
http://www.slimjet.com/en/dlpage.php
It says:
"32-bit Slimjet Web Browser is recommended for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. If you want to go 64-bit at the cost of more memory usage, you can get 64-bit Slimjet for Windows."
Hmm...it says that 32 bit is recommended, but then the rest is confusing. Do I want the 64 bit "at the cost of more memory"? Which will work better?

Ok, 64 bit. But now I need to save my bookmarks in case everything gets trashed like it did when I tried to go to #11...but now I can't remember how to export bookmarks! Bookmark manager is no help. Import bookmarks is no help. Search is no help. Settings is no help. How do I export bookmarks!?

OK got it! Damn they hide it good. That arrow just looked like a bookmark dropdown tool to me. I thought that if I click it it would just retract the bookmark list. I'll try to remember it for the next time...but I doubt that I will...

Well yeah, but I thought "organize" was just some sort of dropdown menu for all my folders and bookmarks. I suppose I'm the only one though...

It is less than obvious. You are not the first user to have trouble finding it.donaldduck wrote:Well yeah, but I thought "organize" was just some sort of dropdown menu for all my folders and bookmarks. I suppose I'm the only one though...
