Issues with Webcam Pages

Once in a while I like to view webcams at sites that PTZtv has on the net. Here is one of their sites:
http://atlanticcitywebcam.com/
The site detects if you are using ad blocking software and asks you to turn it off for their sites, which I do. So now, even with all ad blocking extensions removed and the built in ad blocker in Slimjet not running, the site is still telling me that I am using ad blocking software and it redirects me to their site that explains their ad policy. In Firefox I can go to all of their sites and have Adblock Plus disabled on those sites and view the content just fine. This is not the case in Slimjet.

Why ? These sites used to work fine for me.

http://portmiamiwebcam.com/
And there are several more related sites.

I am coming to the difficult decision that I do not want to fight with my web browser to get it to do the simplest of things, such as render a website properly. Slimjet is a great, fast browser, but I continue to have ongoing issues with it. And this time I am 10 hours away from home on my laptop and not my desktop that I usually use at home and I still am having issues. Meanwhile, Firefox keeps chugging along and shows me the content that I wish to see with no complaints or issues from the browser. Maybe it is time for me to keep Slimjet as a backup and migrate back over to Firefox (my browser of choice for many years) Slimjet is faster, but by disabling Adblock Plus in Firefox on the websites mentioned above allows me to view the content on those sites. Disabling and even uninstalling Adblock Plus in Slimjet does not allow me to view the content in those websites. Sorry for venting. But I think that a return to Firefox as a full time default browser for me is about to happen.

I tried that today. No, it does not seem to do anything for me.
My expectation as a user of Slimjet is that what works for me in Chrome should work for me in Slimjet. I do not wish to have to try to debug this browser so that it works for me properly. My hope is that the developers would not cause things to not work anymore the way that they should. I am typing this using the latest Firefox. Spent the past couple of days tuning it up and getting it set back to the way that I like it. It is like returning to an old friend and so far, everything that I have tossed at it works...including the webcam sites by me merely telling Adblock Plus to not block ads on those sites. I will keep Slimjet installed and updated for now, but Firefox remains an old friend and maybe she will continue to treat me well and not be pissed because I left her for a while.

Totally uninstalled Slimjet this morning. Then installed the latest official 64bit Chrome browser. Also installed Adblock Plus. I went to the webcam page(s) in question and disabled Adblock Plus on those sites and the sites work fine. So something within Slimjet is causing issues. I think that the internal ad blocker could be the culprit even though I did not have it enabled.

Still playing around here. After dumping Slimjet completely out of my system, I downloaded the portable version and guess what, the webcam pages display properly with Adblock Plus disabled on those sites. Go figure.

Have you been on the latest Firefox? It now has that great old time Opera feature where you click on the left margin to make the left side panel, including bookmarks, come and go. I haven't played with it much so far as I am still using this as my main browser. I need to though.

I am pretty much done with Mozilla based browsers. I have Chrome 64bit installed with an extension called "Neater Bookmarks" and I like it. I also am using the very same extension in Opera and have V7 bookmarks side panel turned off. I think that I have broken the side panel habit in favor of using Neater Bookmarks. I have gained valuable real estate on my monitor now without the side panel being open and I rather like it that way.

Is there a portable version of Cent ? I shall check.
EDIT: Yes there is. With all due respect, in order for Slimjet to grow, there has to be a better response from Flashpeak and the team.
