Thanks for your help! We don't have a twitter account for Slimjet. We found twitter's 140 character limit is too short to post anything meaningful. We do have a facebook page for Slimjet.

Write it in a picture

then you can pass the 140 character limit. Post links to what your browser can do

Twitter is great way to get the word out one 400 character picture at a time.
I never use FaceBook I read the Eula ON PRIVACY you don't have any! Almost as bad as GOOGLE Chromes!
LOL I don't want to be sold to their advertisers, I don't want every person working there reading my PRIVATE MESSAGES.
And most of all I don't want spyware running in the background phoning home to facebooks trackers every 3 minutes!
Well I have been sending tweets to FileHippo's twitter about your browser. I will keep doing that!
You have a great browser THANK YOU!

I'm planning to make some Linux distro with Slimjet browser how's that sounds?
Since most Linux distro start with Firefox or chromium instead of Chrome, Palemoon & Slimjet.
that's made me start to get boring that everything is Firefox.
So Slimjet will be unique along with palemoon among other Linux distro.

Peppermint has a pretty decent way of working with Chromium.
Haven't seen a Linux distro with Slimjet as default yet, so, ya, could be interesting indeed!

Slimjet got listed on
www.filehippo.com recently. I believe our users' voice finally got heard by their editors. Thanks to anyone who had joined in the efforts to make this happen!
If our German users can keep referring Slimjet to chip.de, I hope we can get their attention in time as well. Chip.de is the single biggest IT/software site in Germany.

Just installed it on ChaletOS 64bit and it is purrring just fine.
Adding to panel is as easy as 1,2,3 step.
Chalet uses Ubuntu software to install it then you just right-click on program icon to add it to panel.
p.s. congratulations for Slimjet posting on Filehippo! Hope German comes soon!

That sounds great. Slimjet currently has very little presence in the linux world.

I don't post in forums much but I had to for this product. Gotta say been using Slimjet for about a month and I love it. As a power user and also a web developer, this is a great, great browser. I'll recommend it whenever I get a chance! How do you guys make money off this?!

Don´t know if it helps, but I´ll give the reasons why, I, a FF user, changed to slimjet.
Uses less memory than all the other major browsers.
Fast on start & use.
Facebook: one click integration, instant photo upload, on-the fly photo enhancement.
Better configuration on privacy & security. Examples on the images.
Toolbar configuration.
Integration with adblocker.
These can be used in promotion.

Lots of people ditching opera because of the chinese buy and waiting for vivaldi (see comments
http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/2016 ... -computers). A campaing directed to that public showing that slimjet is a better replacement?, definitively better than the new opera. I´m not an advertisement expert but surely something could be done. Only a thought.
