Luckily I still had Chrome for safety. At first I thought it was a problem with me, glad I'm not alone this time. I just had the time to export my bookmarks.
The settings can be fully viewed and changed without SJ crashing. Hopefully a solution soon!

Same here, for no reason.

I just checked the official Chrome site and it says they just released a new extended stable version on the 25th, 130.0.6723.70, which has been rolling out the last couple of days. This may be the culprit. As soon as our machines are auto-updated to this new version of Chrome, it is breaking SlimJet in some way.

UPDATE: I downloaded version 42.0.3.0 (based on Chromium 120.0.6099.18) and so far it's working ok, including with my bank's website which 40.0.2.0 was not doing.

No it isn´t because i have no Chrome installed and Slimjet is crashing anyway.

BTW: SlimBrowser 18.0.0 from FlashPeak is working like a charme but it´s based on Firefox. The best alternative for me at the moment.

Slimjet Portable version 38.0.8.0 64bit is still working OK now, writing this comment on this Portable version 38.0.8.0 64bit!

Maybe SJ can't phone home Need to analyze packets.
It's not extensions. A clean SJ crashes too.
Does anyone know howe to use Windows debugger to read the dump files?

Slimjet version 43-0-9-0 and up on till the most recent just unexpectedly crashes from clean install.

Might as well add my name to the list of people affected by this.

Slimjet v. 44.0.5.0, installed some time ago when first available.

Of the many websites I've tried to access today, only 2 have loaded without causing a crash and they've loaded successfully every time I tried them.
Numerous crash reports sent but the Crash Report panel no longer appears following a crash.
No extensions in use.
Now using Chrome to post this. That's a pity because I like Slimjet and have used it for ..... 7+ years maybe. But problems are becoming more frequent and, not being a tech. genius, it's often VERY difficult to resolve.

One detail more - may be it could be caused by that last Windows Update, for Windows 10 Professional 64bit,

Probably not, as it's behaving exactly the same under Linux.

I suspect a new version of the very widely used Google Web Tools has rolled out to websites across the net, and there's something in the scripts that Slimjet doesn't like.

I can confirm the same here. I use slimjet 44.0.5.0 and it was working fine till yesterday after that it starts crashing with every website I open
