Thanks for all the digging around, everyone. I sure did not expect so much detective work.
I did sync my saved settings from 4.0.14 right when I first ran the portable.
I installed the extension that dev mentions. It works fine but it did make several registry changes and added 29 files.
I appreciate all of your time.
